The performance of EndoTherm was piloted by Dakelh & Quesnel Community Housing Society (DQCHS), a non-profit Indigenous housing provider in the City of Quesnel.
EndoTherm was installed into the boiler system at Milestone Manor, a 31 unit residential apartment building in downtown Quesnel on November 2nd, 2020.
After installation, DQCHS received a rebate, available to FortisBC customers in British Columbia, Canada.
An initial baseline was created using historical consumption provided by DQCHS / FortisBC. Data between June 2018 and October 2020 was normalised using Heating Degree Days (HDD) from Quesnel Regional Airport (CVQZ) at a baseload of 18.5°C.

The regression shows a strong R2 (0.8912), but consumption during the colder period is notably higher which will be considered in the analysis. The baseline also shows no notable change in consumption since March 2020 showing negligible change in demand caused by COVID-19.
This trendline can be used to predict consumption in the post-install period using known values for HDD (x) within the trendline equation of y = 0.326x – 2.4755.
The six months post-install have been compared with the pre-install baseline.
