Following the success of EndoTherm at Merante Manor (which saved 17.4% during the winter of 2016/17) Main Street Equity Corp chose 29 buildings to run a secondary pilot program over the 2017/18 heating season.

Main Street Equity Corp own and manage over 11,000 units in Western Canada. The sites chosen for the pilot are of mixed size and age, reflective of their housing stock.

Technical site surveys established the system volumes of each site and EndoTherm was installed into the closed loop heating system of each building in November 2017.

The baseline figures were calculated from the historical natural gas usage versus heating degree days for the months of December 2016 to December 2017 and compared to weather normalized data (using heating degree days from Edmonton/Calgary airports at a baseload of 18.5°C) from after treatment from December 2017 to April 2018. All property utility data was provided for these calculations by Main Street.

“I have used EndoTherm in many boiler systems while I worked in Europe. Now that I work in Canada I have recommended and used it for all the properties I manage in Calgary. It’s an excellent way to reduce our gas bills.”
