The performance of EndoTherm was piloted by The Jim Pattison Group at North Battleford Radio Station in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The radio station is heated by 2 x Teledyne LAARs 180,000BTU/hr output boilers. Initially the system was flushed to remove excess suspended solids before EndoTherm was added on December 13th 2017. Significant savings were expected as flushing alone can account for between 5-10% of improved performance.
A baseline was established using the IPMVP (International Protocol for Measurement & Verification of Performance) by comparing Actual Meter Readings, taken on monthly intervals with Heating Degree Days data from North Battleford/Hamlin Airport at a baseload of 18.5°C.
