EndoTherm continued its successful start in Western Canada with a positive case study at the University of the Fraser Valley.

Over the 10 month review period, Abbotsford Campus UFV had a consistent 13.44% reduction in gas consumption resulting in a savings of $10,785 (CAD). This will have their EndoTherm install totally paid back by the end of this heating season (18 months in total). The reduction in gas also means the campus reduced its carbon footprint and eliminated 54 tonnes of CO2e emissions, equivalent to removing the annual emissions from 11.5 cars.

The installation at the main Chilliwack building(s) also showed success with a similar projected ROI.

The installation of EndoTherm also enabled the site to reduce its consumption by over 40% following the Enbridge Gas Explosion in October 2018 and the subsequent pressure by local Utilities to reduce consumption whilst gas supplies were consolidated. The months of October and November were removed from the analysis.

“EndoTherm was installed into our Abbotsford and Chilliwack campus buildings in early 2018. As a result, we’ve seen a significant reduction in our natural gas consumption and associated carbon emissions. We’re pleased with our expected 18 month return on investment.”
